The Dramatic Beauty of Shutters

Wood Shutters: The benchmark of Furniture Quality Window Coverings

The distinction is simple: quality and beauty. Like a fine piece of wood furniture, wood shutters are crafted with function, fit and appearance in mind. From the louvers and stiles to the rails and tilt bars, each part is made as a solid piece of wood. This ensures the elimination of finger joints and risk of blemishes. And although available in different material, Basswood is our standard of excellenece.

When considering shutters, traditional and plantation are our two choices. Traditional shutters use a narrow panel (3/4”) with 1-1/4" louvers, while plantation shutters have wider louvers ranging from 2-1/2" to 4-1/2".  Then there's color. Shutters can be both painted or stained. We offer a number of paint colors including different shades of white and lights, as well as stain colors for a way to complement the wood grain. Stains range from light natural tones to dark ones almost black, all to provide you with just the right look for your home.

So whether plantation or traditional shutters, the result is the same -- a lifetime of good looks that enhance the value of your home.
